Challenge

To ensure that the existing website was technically future-proof, secure and scalable, as part of the renewed online strategy, a thorough code review was requested. The organization was looking for:

• An independent assessment of technical quality
• Insight into potential bottlenecks and vulnerabilities
• Advice for performance and security improvements

Approach

We conducted a structured technical audit of the complete front-end and backend code. We tested among other things:

• Code quality and consistency
• Security risks (including XSS, CSRF, SQL injections)
• Performance bottlenecks
• Maintainability and scalability
• Use of frameworks and best practices
