Tible

As Southeast Asia accelerates its transition toward modern waste management and circular-economy frameworks, Tible is expanding its international footprint into Vietnam. Tible BV has signed a Letter of Intent (LOI) with the Institute for Circular Economy Development (ICED) to collaborate on automated waste-separation pilots and data-driven recycling infrastructure.

A Living Lab for Circular Innovation

Rapid economic growth and new extended producer responsibility (EPR) regulations are driving demand for scalable, high-quality recycling systems in Vietnam. The planned collaboration with ICED focuses on combining advanced hardware with Tible’s centralized software and IoT platform to validate automated collection under real-world conditions.

Key pillars of the partnership include:

Automated Separation & Traceability

Introducing multi-stream automated collection technology connected to Tible’s platform to ensure material purity, accurate volume tracking, and reliable operational data.

Academic & Behavioral Research

Utilizing high-traffic campus environments as living labs to analyze user engagement, incentive models, and consumer recycling habits alongside university researchers.

Scalable Blueprint for the Region

Laying the foundation for broader rollouts across educational hubs, commercial technology parks, and retail environments as Vietnam prepares for wider deposit and collection initiatives.

Bridging Technology and Local Ecosystems

Meaningful circular transitions require alignment across technology providers, academic institutions, and local industry partners. Working with ICED provides a strong foundation for integrating smart waste separation into Vietnam’s broader sustainability roadmap.

Over the coming months, teams from Tible and ICED will work on technical preparation, pilot site selection, and stakeholder engagement ahead of the scheduled project launch in early 2027. Further milestones and project developments will be shared as preparations continue.
