Tible, Pure Recycle Oy and environmental activist Merijn Tinga (the Plastic Soup Surfer) joined forces at Pollutec Lyon to demonstrate deposit return system effectiveness and advocate for DRS implementation in France. During the three-day exhibition, the partners showcased live demonstrations combining Pure’s compact reverse vending machines with Tible’s Reverse Vending Collector software. The demos proved that deposit return systems can be practical, efficient and scalable for the French market.

The presence during Pollutec facilitated discussions with French regional representatives, Citeo and the Dutch Embassy in France. To demonstrate commitment to the cause, Tible and Pure Recycle donated €0,25 for every item deposited during the exhibition to support the Plastic Soup Surfer foundation.
