During our recent visit to Hong Kong, we reached an important milestone. Together with James, the founder of GrinBean, we officially signed a Letter of Intent. With this, Tible expresses the intention to acquire a majority stake in GrinBean and to jointly build the future of the company.

Proven technology in practice

What immediately makes GrinBean unique is that it is not a theoretical idea on paper. The technology is already fully operational in the real world. GrinBean has developed a smart, AI-driven recycling machine. By combining advanced computer vision and robotics, the system recognizes and sorts more than 20 different waste streams directly at the source. This provides a rock-solid foundation for further innovation within the circular economy.

Building together from each other's strengths

At Tible, we don't believe in having all the answers ourselves. James and his team excel in hardware, IoT, and mechanical engineering. In turn, Tible contributes software expertise, people, structure, and experience in scaling up. It is precisely by bringing these disciplines together that we strengthen one another.

The goal is to provide GrinBean with the stability and momentum needed to continue developing, while actively exploring how their technology can be connected to the broader Tible ecosystem and our RVC Platform.

Not an acquisition, but a partnership

This is not a typical corporate acquisition story. It is the story of a passionate founder, a technology that has already proven itself in practice, and two parties who believe you create more impact together than alone. There is still plenty ahead to explore, test, and refine—and that is exactly what makes this journey so valuable.
